More Halloween fun...

We missed Aunt Jen...so far away!

Happy Halloween!

So, Shane and I wanted Emma to be princess Leia, but alas...she had her own ideas. She wanted to be a bunny. It's been so fun how excited she was today to put on her costume. Other years, it's just been us dressing her up. But this year, she was truly excited all on her own. So fun. We're headed off to our ward's trunk or treat, and then to the grandparents for some traditional trick or treating. Should be fun. :)

Interesting, I found this on a friend's blog this morning. :) My Dad would be proud.

Your Issue Profile: 60% Obama, 40% McCain

Truth be told, you're not really satisfied with either of the candidates.

You could vote for either of them. You are the typical coveted swing voter.

You may want to narrow yourself down to a particular set of issues in order to pick your president.

Or start looking at third party candidates. One of them might suit you better.

Crepusculo

I found a good excuse to read it again! :) A friend of mine gave me the book in Spanish. Now I won't feel guilty reading it again, I'm just trying to build up my Spanish vocabulary! :)

Also, since so many girls are loving these books at my middle school, I'm organizing a school-wide movie day on opening night. We are trying to get as many as possible to read it before 11/21, and then we are all going to the after school show on opening day! It'll be fun to see it with 400+ middle schoolers.

Another Pumpkin Patch with the cousins...

Today we went out to Jubilee Farms in Carnation! It was so fun. They had pony rides and a hay maze in the top of the barn. We went for a tractor pulled hay ride out to the pumpkin fields, watched a pumpkin trebuchet launch, and saw animals. We bought some delicious fresh carrots and butternut squash. It was so fun, and it was an unusually beautiful fall day for the Northwest. So fun. I wish we had more days like this.

Happy Birthday, Emma!

I can't believe Emma is 3 years old. Wow! We had a fun day...we had the cousins here for a little party with cake, and then after a long nap...We went out to a pumpkin patch. It was only 1/2 hour before they closed, and no one else was there, so we had the run of the place! It was beautiful. They even had a little hay maze for toddlers to go through. And of course, Emma loved the chickens. Then we went out for dinner at Red Robin, and after waiting 45 minutes, we got our dinner for free! It was awesome.

I can't believe my little girl is so big. :) It was fun.

I love Facebook...

I am so happy that I live in the technological age! I LOVE Facebook. I can't tell you how many old friends that I have found on there, and how great it is to keep in touch with everyone. I really think it's amazing. I just found three old college friends today...it's so nice to be connected with people I love! It's awesome...if you haven't tried it...go for it!

Baby Carrie

I don't know, Emma and I kind of look alike? :)
