Emma is FIVE!

Emma turned five on Thursday. We had a fairly low-key day with her. While I was gone at work, she got to go out to breakfast with Shane. By the time I got home, she had a fairly bad cold, and so she didn't get to go to school. We played and napped in the afternoon, then at night, we put Henry to bed and watched "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory". That was our first chapter read-a-loud book this summer, and she's been dying to watch it.

Then we had a family party on Saturday night, a la "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory" as well. We tried to fill Emma's room with balloons as the "bubble room". We had a candy cake, a chocolate fountain with yummy food for dipping, and lots of fun visiting. It was fun to have lots of family squished in our little house. :)
