Busy, busy, busy. That's the best way to describe our current life.
I started a new job teaching high school online in the evenings. I've just been doing the training the last two weeks and my house has already gone to pot. Who knows what is going to happen when I'm actually working with students and mentors. No one will ever be able to come to my house. I need to get organized so I have a clean house, some free time, and lots of baby play time. I've let the house go, and justify just playing with the kids when I get a free moment. That's ok, right? Not really.
I got called to be the Relief Society Secretary last week, too and now I'm super stressed about how to balance it all. Blessings will come, right? And, Shane is in his last semester of school and is taking a ridiculous amount of classes. I can't wait for the next few months to be done. Then some down time.
Sometime I'll get around to taking pictures again. I haven't taken any for a long time.
Good news: Henry is walking! He waddles all over. I'll get some video and post it. I also heard him say "mama" and "emma" this week. He still doesn't sleep through the night, and I think that's adding to the problem. It's a good thing he's cute. His blue eyes make me sigh, even at 2:00 in the morning.
Even though I'm busy, I do treasure and love my life. I'm thankful for a sweet husband and adorable kids, who right now are chasing each other around the ottoman playing "peek-a-boo" and giggling hysterically.
And lastly, we are adding one more in September. Probably in August, since I always deliver early. We are excited but overwhelmed. Henry and the new one will only be 18 months apart. Yikes! I know others have done it, but will I be able to? That's a good question.

We are so excited for your new little family addition to arrive!! And I can totally relate to your feelings of trying to be more organized and I only have one little one to occupy my time and no job . . . my husband keeps telling me I'll develop "mom" powers. I am learning out of sheer necessity to do quite a few things one-handed but it is not easy!! I keep feeling more and more respect for my mom (and ALL moms) for sacrificing so much for us kids. Miss you much!
Love-Jen :)
You'll be able to do it... somehow when the time comes you just do it. My mom had 4 kids ages 5 and under, be glad your aren't in that situation :)
That just goes to show you the story of evolution is a lie if it were true mom's would have more than two arms! :) Congratulations for the newest baby. Sounds like you didn't even have to try for this one like you did for Henry. Heavenly Father knows what he is doing!
Hang in there Carrie It will be worth every minute!! You are a great mom and wife and you will make it!! Savanna was 5 months old when Tim graduated it was a VERY happy day!! And I have been greatful ever since. It was worth all the hard work and being a single mom on a income for so many years. And you can totally do three kids! Your from a family of 6 this should be easy. Just kidding it's not easy but you will do great!
