Memories

I got this from one of my roommates blogs from college. :) Let's see who has good memories of me. Nothing too embarrassing, ok? :)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see all the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume your playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave one about you.

Wonderful memories of Carrie!! The first time I saw you I thought WOW, I want to get to know this girl!!! She looks so nice and fun! (And I was right!) We were at a park in Bellevue for a sports night FHE and you came with Ginger, and I thought how cool that you took the effort to come to this FHE at all (since I was the activity coordinator at the time.)

Another really fun memory I had with you was when we were looking at beautiful wedding dresses that you bookemarked on your computer one night as we were hanging out (before you started dating Shane). This was before I even had any idea you thought Shane was a cutie! I will always remember that you put our friendship above trying to get to know Shane through me. Such a hallmark of integrity and loyalty!

Another instance where I knew you were a gem was when I heard about the battle of wills you had with that little 5-6 year old boy you nannied for and how you stood your ground to enforce the perimeters you had given him for a whole hour! Then one night Shane and I went with you to just babysit the same kids and I saw firsthand how wonderful you are with children!! You are just such an easy person to love! Love, Jen :)

Oh what to say about Carrie, the short thumbed Democrat . . . :) You are still aren't you? I remember having so much fun up at Ricks with you. I remember when we all went to my house for Andy's welcome home and got run off the road by a semi! Just a little scarry! You were always so much fun and always good to joke around with and have fun. I remember you dating a guy who was 6'7" and weighed 120 pounds or something like that! You definately did much better on your choice of a husband!! :) I remember doing sign language to the hymns we picked! Ricks was so fun with you!! Snake lick, Boo Bee, Wanna Marriot?, etc. etc.

Um, I meant Andy's farewell not his welcome home!

I remember you always being happy and humble on the mission. Everyone who had you as a companion loved you to pieces and you seem so down to earth.
